Sustainability Facts 2024
A good working atmosphere is important to us. A good global climate is too! We would like to give you an insight into our current successes, of which we are very proud:
- By purchasing CO2-neutral certified electricity and gas, we have managed to completely reduce our CO2 emissions to zero tons.
- In the last 3 years we have reduced our electricity consumption by 6%. This is a result of our continuous efforts to improve energy efficiency.
- By using environmentally friendly water-based paints, we have been able to reduce volatile organic compounds (VOCs) by 36% in the last 10 years.
- We use renewable energies: Our photovoltaic system now extends over 3,489 m² and generates up to 520,000 kWh of electricity annually.
- Our injection molding machines have been equipped with modern temperature control devices that enable annual energy savings of up to 50%.
- We start by calculating the ecological footprint during the manufacturing process of our products. This allows our customers to understand how environmentally friendly our production methods are.
- We use waste heat from cooling water production and use a heat pump to save energy and increase our efficiency.
We are proud of these advances and will continue to do everything we can to minimize our environmental footprint and create a sustainable future.
